I first saw this when I was a teenager and I've always liked it.

To quote Douglas Adams in "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy",

"Space is big - really big - you just won't believe how vastly, hugely mind-bogglingly big it is. You may think it's a long way down the road to the chemist, but that's just peanuts to space."

Here's an excerpt from a more modern documentary based on the same idea. Narrated by Morgan Freeman.

This is, I find, a very inspiring video that was made by a friend of a friend. He also did the music. It's 6 minutes long, but please watch it if you can. Although it was filmed in Ireland, the scenery is very, very similar to what henwrench see's everyday. The guy who made the film is Cornish incase any of you were wondering what his accent is. Watch and be inspired......

Amazing, professional photography and great scenery. Watched it in fullscreen HD (720p) at YouTube and it was awesome.

I think he won some kind of award (deservedly so!!). It really is a great film. I watch it at least once a week, or if I'm a bit pissed off. It makes me wake up. And I don't even surf. Glad you liked it!!

Beautiful images, and the first Irish surfing film I've ever seen.

The internet pipe isn't cooperating with me today, so 720p didn't play so well, but 480p was grand.
