Thanks to the encouragement especially from Farmjazz and I have taken some of his advice and re-worked this track (and had to compress it for the web ::) Hope you like how it's coming on

I know I smelled some salt air while listening to this. Very nice, Graham. Way to hang in there!

I'd like to hear some sort of bridge section. Something to break up the main melody. A brief departure that will strengthen the melody when you come back to it. How about a modulation? That would work great in this one, too, I think.

Glad to see this one didn't get left on the "I'll get back to it someday" pile like so many of mine. The world needs more surf music!

Thanks guys, Im still not to happy with the bass line, I got a new bass just for recording and my fingers are starting to hurt  :) so I will give a few days and see what comes up.
