Anyone know the Baja California well?

Jen & I decided  to drive down in our car from Vancouver for the month of February but we have not been to that side and will just take it as it comes. (We have been to lots of other Mexico spots)
Any suggestions or even if someone has a rental there that we can consider let us know.
Anyone along the way who just wants to jam, I'll have one of my acoustic guitars and the MBR for sure.

Thanks, I will, ..and I'm hoping it's more of a warm journey.
The south west coast of Canada is not too bad for temperature.
We rarely get snow, but it rains a lot and stays cloudy most of the rest of the winter.
By February we get a bit desperate for sun.
