Hydrogen..User manual?

I just D/L'ed the program and noticed the help/user manual is just pictures, no text, other than the index.
IOW the links in the index jump to the right graphics and there is space for text but none there.
Is this normal or did I miss something?

No, that's not normal. But it won't be a problem. The built-in user manual and tutorial are exactly the same as these ones on their website:

Those files should also have been included in the installation. If you search for "manual_en.html", you can load that file into your web browser and you'll see the same thing as the online manual.

I discovered the manual is written in white on a white background which doesn't show up until you highlight it.
I am just now returning to this program to work out drum tracks. Some of the youtube vids seem helpful
It's been a long time. Has there been a better solution to drum tracks since?
As an alternative, I do have a bunch of drum loop samples on a CD I bought.
Would drum loops be easily cut and pasted in Audacity?
