Drum programming? So many options I'm confused.

Btw, you can go directly into the BR from computer if you RCA in on your model. I've done that recording live stuff off of the radio (internet radio) like interviews or the Bottle Rockets playing on air before a gig.

Good idea. That also might tell me if there is a disconnect of some kind if it doesn't work.
I assume that would be using the line out?
BTW I have taken 64's advice on using the free Hydrogen for building up drum tracks from scratch.

It looks pretty intuitive and has a decent tutorial and help with images that I'm working thru.
Other than than that, I have a bunch of WAV loops I purchased some time ago that I can patch together in Audacity and export.
Right now I'm trusting the satisfaction will follow.
