Did you see the American Music Awards? Thank goodness for the Boss BR community!

Forced myself to watch the American Music Awards last night. It was dreadful. The big labels have hit rock bottom. Or maybe the music buying public has hit rock bottom and the AMA just sells to it.  There were almost no real musicians. Just performers with ridiculous sets and vocal effects. I wanted to do a brain flush when it was over.

So.... Thank goodness for the Boss BR community!  Whether it's here or on YouTube, the aspiring song writers and spare bedroom recording artists are a breath of fresh air. Someone asked me the other day which music I was buying. I said none. There is a wealth of interesting, authentic music available through communities like this.

Thanks everyone!!!  This is where the real music happens!

So true Rickocaster!!!  I get the same question and give the same answer !! Of course I do recommend everyone to buy Bosko's and Pinedog's CDs !!! Gotta support our friends !! AND The sound on their CDs is really worth the buy!! I've always thought mp3 was good enought. It's not!!!!! Buy their Cs and hear the difference!!!!!

I've always thought mp3 was good enought.

Can't agree more... not just about Bosko and Pinedog but MP3s in general are simply too compressed to allow you to hear (and enjoy) any nuance in the music.
