Thanks alot for all the welcomes, folks! It's just dizzying trying to make a decision about which machine to get. I've looked extensively at each one, and they all have something different about them. In the end, however, in order to insure that I can do everything my brain can cook up, I think that I will have to go with a 1200 or 1600.
I think if I could find a reasonably priced 900 I might consider it as a break-in device and start there. Still thinking.
