I was using a ZOOM G7.1ut , with a Godin LG .. and yes you can say this is a work in progress .. I guess most of my work is a work in progess ...  ;D

Yeah, I have to agree with the tone thing. You have a good sound coming out of there. I have always wondered what the Zoom g7 sounded like. Seen it in a bunch of mags, but never in a store. Cool post.
