Hi everyone,

First, let me say that we LOVE this group.
Simple, down to heart, generous & creative!!
Found you guys when we got interested in the Micro BR unit as a possible ultra portable recording solution for our French Bohemian traveling duo (http://magikbus.cyme.org/blog). The size & potability factor finally made us decide in favor of the Micro BR against  its closest competitor namely the Zoom MRS-8SD.

Zoom MRS-8SD specs were interesting. (see http://reviews.harmony-central.com/reviews/Effects/product/Zoom/MRS-8/10/1) BUT the Micro BR was so "portable" that it made the difference between bringing a recorder along ANYWHERE or just not bothering (forgetting ??) to pack yet an other piece of equipment. Fits in our guitar case, right? And the recording quality is just fine. As a matter of fact, our last CD album was recorded  Live in Florence Oregon using only a Micro BR.

So here we go for presenting ourselves:

We're Georges & Cerika. Since the late seventies, we have been performing together as composers, musicians, singers & songwriters.
Our repertoire is comprised of  French, European classics, originals,  improvisations & chansons from all ages.
We sing in several languages (mainly in French but also in English, Romanian, Armenian & Portuguese ) & perform in the European bohemian/tzigane tradition.

Our instrumentation varied over the years from simply acoustic guitar & vocals to Midi Electric Guitar, 4 & 5 strings violin, 6 & 12 strings acoustic guitar, keyboards (U20-JX8P), Digitech Vocalist, Acoustic Bass & Electronic saxophone. Our latest incarnation (as recorded Live in Florence) is Classical Flamenco guitar, Electronic Saxophone & vocals.

We have been touring the US for the last 4 years & we're now on SaltSpring Island Canada.
We travel with a school bus & a small van. That's how we live.

Thanks for taking the time to read our presentation.

Blessings to all!
