Oh yeah there is definately Prog blues Mike.  Jethro Tull is a good example right off the top of my head, the lead guitarist was playing heavy blues with a Les Paul against flute, and keyboards.  That may be a neat thing to Google "Prog Blues".  I can't wait to hear what you come up with Mike, it will add some more texture to your sound!!!!  Don't forget to play with effects too.  I go from kaoss out into some Boss effects pedals (delay, chorus, phaser, OD) and then into microBR or my amp and it sounds real great.  I have run it through my wah pedal also.  Or plug into the microBR and dial up a guitar effect (likeRT is a good one for this), groovy man!!!!!  The sky is the limit with this little thing.  Just remember, any body part will do,  :o you don't have to play it with just your finger, experiment.   ;)

Go for it, Mike! Another Mike (Rutherford) has been known to throw out a few rock blues riffs!

You have the power - Look at what Dave has done!

I forget that you have a 600 now, too. Extra effects and drum programming! All you need, man!!

Your friend should have had a sense of humor and sent you the pink one. I'm anxiously awaiting the first Kaoss Blues post. I also want a homework assignment completely developed on the Kaossilator!
