So great Mike, you take Jimmy Reed and T-bone Walker and mix them together and you get Chuck Berry and all the rest is rock & roll history they say.

Id bought a Jimmy Reed songbook just last month...I love his shuffle patterns.
I was a lil sad Big Bossman wasnt included in the book, but theres still a bunch of great songs to learn.

Ive got this song down, if I could program the drum track Id make this one of my first colabs...I cant sing, either...but Ive got these rhythms down. Maybe thats not impressive to some, but this is my kinda blues...nice and simple, with room for expression.

And if you havent seen it, Jimmy Vaughan did a set on Austin City Limits, a tribute to Jimmy Reed, I think its called Jimmy Reed Highway...Im pretty certain they even toured with that same line up.

And ever since watching that episode, Ive come to appreciate Jimmie more than Stevie...I want to be more like Jimmy than Stevie. Hes more of a hero to me....even though I saw Stevie 2x before he died(once with Jeff Beck).
[edit] And Omar's vocals and harp arent to chabby either!

Lets get it rollen Sprocket post the rythms.  someone will figure out drums. Won't get no where unless you try. I might even have a go at the singing.

Thanks for the encouragement PJ...Ive been spending all my free time working on the lessons. So I havent been pursuing my own projects or even learning about the MBR much outside of the lessons...Ive just been practicing the boxes with the backers.

Maybe I'll find a backer for this, or just set up the metronome and try and bang out the rythmn(I really need spellcheck at home!) to see how it goes...or maybe use the center cancel feature *shrug*

BTW, i love this forum for stuff like this...
Its the tiny-est(damn specllcheck!) of pushes that have such an impact on me.
This kind of reminds me of "the Roadtrip"...thanks PJ  ;D
It may take me more than a minute to work this out, but I plan on moving on this.
