Had this song rolling around in my head for a while.

I recorded it this morning using a p.o.s. "Applause" acoustic and the BR600 internal mics (they are working this morning!).

Great wonderful super song.  I am loving this song Vanman.  There is that wonderful voice again.  Another one of yours that reminds me of Jeff Tweedy from his Uncle Tupelo days (which is a very good thing in my books).

I appreciate the voice compliments. I had a pretty late night so my voice (and my head) was a little rough this morning.

Wow, this is a GREAT song. The lyrics are excellent, create a realy strong emotional image and sends shivers down the spine. Love this one. The recording sounds a bit "thin" to me, a little lacking in dynamic range (the recording, not the performance). Perhaps you could try some post processing - bounce to other tracks and try different EQ/mastering?

But it's still a really, really good song. Vocals and harmonies are great. Superb.
