It is on one of my top 5 albums of all time  ;)

That would be...

Led Zep      IV
Ozzy          Bark at the moon

Magnum      On a storytellers night

I hope this helps someone with the SteveG challenge, because  I have none of these albums.

Sadly no...and I have a cool song to post too!

I really do enjoy hearing all of this stuff though-its news to me.

Looks like nobody is going to get this .... Children of the sea, Black Sabbath.

Did I play it that badly that it was unrecognisable?

So...anybody else want a go? Davo?

I'm not familiar with that Black Sabbath album but I just listened on YouTube and I think you played it quite well!

It sounds like Iommi either tunes down or plays it in a slightly different key, but that shouldn't have prevented anyone from recognizing it if they were familiar with the song. Unfortunately, I was not. By the way, I did the same thing with "The Wizard". I forgot that I should have tuned down a semitone or two. Didn't realize it until I posted the Uriah Heep YouTube video.

I don't think there's any need to take turns, is there? I suspect that there are several people who have song intros they'd like to post, and lots of people eager to guess the correct identity. So, if you have no objections SteveG (afterall, it's your topic), I'll post a couple more intros shortly. I just have to trim them in Audacity.

Go for it.

And yes, Iommi tunes a half tone down, originally because he managed to cut off his fingertips in a factory accident just before they went pro and it made the bends easier, but also for the darker trademark Sabbath sound.

Just watched the vid. That's Tony Martin on vocals, nobody should be allowed to sing this song but Dio!!!!!!!!

I think these will be really easy. But I guess it depends on whether you're familiar with the song or not. I'm guessing that many people will be.

To save a lot of unnecessary quoting, I suggest we refer to them by the filenames:
