In response to the Grand Funk tune, here's a trio for you.  I did them from memory, so I'm hoping they're recognizable.

My hint for this first one is that this artist or group was discussed in the "Top 5 Albums of All Time" thread.

I imagine the second and third will be easier for you guys into classic rock.

I know Blooby3, but I feel bad answering all three, so I'll PM you and let someone else have a crack at it here.

#3 sounds like Footloose to me?

Blooby

I didn't want to be too esoteric, but I didn't think anybody would nail all three.  64 got the first two publicly and PM'd the third.

With apologies to my favorite (lounge) version by Lou Rawls, "Blooby1" was "Tobacco Road"  off of David Lee Roth's Eat 'em and Smile.

As 64 also said, "Blooby2" is The Edgar Winter Group's "Free Ride" from They Only Come Out at Night.

"Blooby3" is not "Footloose."

Good idea for a thread, by the way.

Copied the idea from another forum, but it is proving far more popular here.....
