Oh well ........

What a great tune.  I have a feeling that catchy, jangly guitar riff will be going through my head all day.  Love the mix.  I'm always intrigued to see where people sit the bass on their posts.  The bass here provides excellent foundation, but it doesn't have a lot of definition.  It works here.

Flash, I assume you plug into the BR for your sound.  What setting (and what bass) do you use?

I have downloaded to the desktop.  I'll be coming back to this one from time to time today.

Geir, You totally masterbumped this!

Thanks nonetheless.  It's a great song.

Note to self: Putting a song on SoundClick is a legitimate pretext for masterbumping.

Quote from: Bosko Schwartz on July 10, 2009, 03:07:37 PMThe bassline is incredible -- why wouldn't it be; it's Flash Harry, for shit's sake -- but needs to be higher in the mix, IMO.

I'm with you Bosko.  Can I have everything the bass louder than everything else?

And what's this about two drum kits?  So you bounced a drum arrangement to one or two tracks... Then what?  Did you change just the kit, or the arrangement too?

Your generating ideas that I might have to try.  For example, I've always liked the snare on the Reggae kit, but it's just a bit too loud and bright for most of my stuff.  However, what if I bounced the drum arrangement on that kit to a pair of tracks, and just played it along with the same arrangement on a different kit.  I could control how prominent that kit is in the mix.

Heading down to the laboratory now.

Igor, I'm not to be disturbed.

This should become the official theme song for Summer. Well done!

Loads of energy,great vocal melody.
I think you could extend this a little more, another verse and chorus maybe.
I was definitely left wanting more, which has got to be good right :)

My first listen. Glad I didn't miss this one. This sounds like a really "pro" production.
Love the guitar solo and yes the vox sits perfectly. Gotta try that trick.
