Hard to express how meaningful the Allman Brothers have been in my life, and we have unfortunately lost another founding member. Duane tends to get the accolades from the early years, but Dickey was an incredible player during his peak years. His love of Western swing helped inform a unique style, and I still consider some of his tones to be benchmarks.

So true unfortunately, all the greats are disappearing and there are not many artists left that are showing signs of making the same impact.
