I just discovered this guy's (Ivan Anderson) channel. I didn't like his affect at first. He seemed to me like a bit of a dumb ass. But I'm glad I kept watching.

It's an interesting angle. I'm certain I don't use any of my pedals to their full potential. I'm too impatient to spend a long time experimenting - I just want to get on with recording the song. So I generally find something that does what I need then stick to it.

That's also known as "being a kid with limited funds". Oh, how much more mileage i would have got with all the "toys" i have now when i was younger.

Being older and/or having more options makes it easier to just jump from gadget to gadget.
