Live in the cellar just to see if I can still do it as I've been recording for ages now singing to a backing track I've made....it think it works .....I'm thinking of getting back out there and doing a few open mics..... I think it could be fun
It funny babe but I can't quit you
I can't let you go
I've loved you since the first time I saw you
Although we're both getting pretty old
Baby I love you
Baby I need you
Baby I want you
So please don't go
Please don't go

Yesterday the postman gave me a  letter
The contents of what I wasn't sure
I wish I hadn't opened up that godamn letter
The words made me feels so insecure
baby Iyou know I love you
Baby you know I care
Baby Please don't leave
 don't leave me here

When I turn the lights  out and I sit in the dark
I see pictures play out in my mind
Of our happy times together
All those glorious times
Oh baby please dont leave me
I promise I can change my ways
Oh baby please don't go away
Don't go away

The nights have drawn in and the curtains are closed
I got no particular place I want to go
I have the tv on most of the time
To save me going out of my mind
Oh baby please don't leave me
I don't want you go
Come on back to me
please don't go

Awesome mate.  I could only dream of being able to do something like this.  Get out there and do it!

Ron D Bowes

Great vocal delivery on this one. Simple stripped back blues - can't beat it.

This is what I hope to see and hear when I go to an open mic: someone who can really deliver a song, preferably an original song. Yes. Get out there and do it!
