Another influenced by my break ....
I'm on the plane, I'm going, I'm finall getting away
The suns been calling me out by my name
Now all I need is a blue sky
All I want to do is play
I want to let the stress just seep away

Pulling back the curtains on a brand new blue sky day
I started to feeling everything is going my way
I wander down the boulivard
Taking in the sites
Finally feeling like I'm a coming alive

Rachel
she's asleep in her bed
I'm up for dawn seeing the world instead
I've got a camera in my hand
Taking in the sites
Thinking to myself what a beautiful life

I know these days will fly
All melt into one
Thats what becomes of a memory till its picked undone

 Break

I walk by the bridge take my shoes off and walk on the sand
The waters feels good and the beach is unmanned
I see the prison out there on the island
But in turn I feel so free
I feel so happy inside I feel like I found me me

I head on up to Ashbury the hills they make me sweat
Walk past the beautiful sisters and have a sit down on a bench
Take in the aroma of the flowers coming to life
Think about my wonderful life
Thinking about my family at home
Brings me joy

I go back to the hotel its around 10
I call Rachel at home its tea time the kids are home again
I start to feel a little homesick
I start to feel a little blue
she tells me to go out there and do something new

Now I know these days will fly
All melt into one
Thats what becomes of a memory till its picked undone
Till its picked undone
Till its picked undone
Till its picked undone
And leaves you

Another cool song inspired by your transatlantic expedition.  Some really cool ivory tickling going on as well as a brilliant vocal.  I'll be out of a job soon! :)

You know, San Francisco is famous for it's terrible weather. You really seem to have had a charmed visit to "the Paris of the West." And it comes through in the joy in music.

Quote from: Mark Twain (Apocryphal)The coldest winter I ever spent was a summer in San Francisco.

The alternating bluesy piano, and the energetic rock-and-roll strumming is interesting – contrasting moods. Suggesting that there is some heaviness on your mind, competing for your attention, and that was overcome by sheer force of will – enthusiasm and openness to new experiences. I can't let this drag me down. I'm in San Fran-fucking-cisco!!

Love that piano intro then when the guitar kicks in it makes a nice contrast. Great vocal, Trev and nicely recorded.
