I did some noodling last weekend and just got round to adding a lyric/vocal today.

It is what it is.
Reminiscing on a rainy day
Thinking back on the dreams we shared
We'd play for hours until the dark
Or wait till mum or dad might call us back
We had no cares we had no fears
Tomorrow just another day
Did time stand still or just fly by
Tomorrow a lifetime away
Time just a background hum
As we lost ourselves in the minutes and the hours
The days maybe last forever
The nights could be just as long
Just what can you remember
When there's just so much that we cannot recall
Are we looking through rose tinted glasses
Forgotten all the fragments of our past

Nice chill, contemplative piece, James. And an interesting subject. Strange how our sense of time changes as time goes on, isn't it? Keeping that childlike sense of wonder alive helps, though...

I don't know if i have high enough rank to even rate this. I'll just lay back and enjoy the show.

I think this man has something important to say. Let's just hear him out for a while.

What the hell are all those sounds? The sonic background texture almost sounds... Bear with me, this is going to sound weird. ...almost sounds like Beat-era King Crimson. Sure, it's not in 19/16, and there are no jarring rhino fart noises, and... and... and... And that's great, in my book.

I have been listening to a lot of the "Krautrock" band "Can".
