I AIN'T STARTED YET!

I sure hate the morning when the birds are chirping loud
I just need my coffee, so no happiness allowed
I hate all those leaflets that get posted through my door
Selling me things I don't want and I don't want no more

You had better listen
To everything I said
'Coz if you think I'm angry boy
Huh, I ain't started yet!

Don't you hate those scammers when they phone you in the night
Asking for your bank details, so they can put things right
I hate it when the car won't start or I can't find my keys
I hate when I'm asked for help, they don't say thanks or please

You had better listen
To everything I said
'Coz if you think I'm angry boy
Huh, I ain't started yet!

Now, I won't stand for rudeness
You may dress it up as truth
But you ain't judge and jury, no
You are just uncouth
We all have opinions, but that don't mean that you're right
Look into the mirror boy
It ain't a pretty sight

You had better listen
To everything I said
'Coz if you think I'm angry boy
Huh, I ain't started yet!

Better watch out
Better watch out
No, I ain't started yet!

Better watch out
Better watch out
No, I ain't started yet!

Better watch out
Better watch out
I ain't started yet!

Better watch out
Better watch out
I ain't started yet!

You do these rock tracks so well, Ron. Cool guitar work and love the harp.

Kick ass. I am always caught by the killer background vocals and their arrangement. Killer harp. Do you run it through some s!ight dirt?

Nice post. Got my blood going.

i love angry and pissed off rock... and man you do it right... I aspire to your greatness...wow...blows me away how good you are every f'ing time...  put this man on a stage, put a guitar on his neck, a mic in front of him and a great band and crew and then send him out to blow the Stones off stage at their own concerts... by the 3rd night the sound crew from the other band would be trying to join your team... but the loyalists would be plotting your demise...

I will take you overall over that other band any day.  no shit

Howling Wolf might have gone, but luckily we have the rocking Ron.

Cool grooves and smart as a whistle vocals.

That harp hits the spot too.

Ron this is right up there... a fine song indeed. Your energy is spilling out of the speakers. This would be such a great one to hear live. It'd be massive. Great idea and lyrics too... super stuff.

By and large, jazz has always been like the kind of a man you wouldn't want your daughter to associate with.

OK to cover but please let me know first.  Thanks!

You cant beat a harp with a bullet mic you get the balance real well on that as its easy to be too distorted, cool rock song Ron, has a more rawer feel to this one which i liked, and liked the rhythm guitars

Farrell Jackson

A good, mean and nasty rocker Ron! I like the lyrics telling' everyone to piss off, lol. All of the vocals are top notch and they fit with the driven rhythm perfectly. The harp and the lead guitar trade offs keep the song rockin'.
The ending stops of "Better watch out, Better watch out, I ain't started yet!" sets up the ending with a bang!

Test, test, one, two, three.....is this mic on?

Ted

That bass tone! Anybody? Yes, yes, yes... the guitar, and the harmonica too. But I want that bass tone!

This made me smile. It's such a Boomer rant – and there are a lot of angry old Boomers who would eat this up. (Speaking as a late Boomer a.k.a. Generation Jones.) This is the Yang to the Ying of another Aussie song posted today: Just A Stone Throw Away
