It is what it is.
Try and keep it simple so
You remember how it goes
Try and make it easy
So you don't forget
It's as simple as it seems
Not complicated by any means
I'll try and make it easy
So we don't forget
Clap your hands and sing along
It's a very simple song
If you think you know it now
You can join me in my song
It's not too hard it's not too long
It's a very simple song
Clap your hands and sing along
It's a very simple song
etc

When Old Rotsy says it's a very simple song i know he's lying. Sorry that's just them rules.

Weirdly enough i get a Cure -like vibe from this song. It has depth to it and maybe the lyrics are simple, but everything else is not.

Personal and clever sounding "smart" pop. That's what this is. Peter Gabriel goes Cure and pretends to do lofi.

Good one! I'd hope to cop this style one day, but i doubt i'll ever be able to.

Doing a bit of catch-up on the latest songs list and finally this is the 16th and last  song I've listened to tonight. Thankfully its an ORH song to help me wind down.

I think I've said a few times in the past that your songs often remind me of Peter Gabriel and the bass line is a bit Cure-like.

You do some lovely relaxing music James !

I'm going to go against the usual Peter Gabriel comparisons. This may be a first: I thought of the simple songs of Jon Anderson - especially when the harmonies come in.

I really like the chourus as it does inspire a sing along...

I could hear both comps here... so when a person can get comps like that must be good.

Ditto that.

A really lovely song James. It'll be stuck in my brain a while me thinks

I will go with this comparison too. There is a lovely innocence coming through. I often get taken to a great calm, tranquil place with your music James and this is another example. Love it.

First off, it's way more than a very simple song. I like how your vocal delivery gives it a slight Reggae vibe. Well done ORH!
