Reg drank a little too much again last night and started to worry again about his health as he normally does each twinge is a single of the end to him nowadays since he reached sixty, he knows his days are numbered and he's started to ask himself those big questions again .....
She says I'm crazy but I'm sure that I'm not
Sometimes I remember but I think I forgot
If life was spiral it'll go round and round
Until finally all I know is i'm deep in the ground

What is it
we really know
Where is it
we really go
What becomes of that inner me
Do we really sleep through eternity
Will I no longer be me

She says I'm crazy but I'm sure that I'm not
I'm always thinking about an illness i've got
Is that pain in my chest or is it  lump
what is that pain rumbling round my gut
Is it wind or a cancerous lump
She says I worry too much its enough
She  says go to doctors and calls my bluff
I get on the phone but can't get through

What is it
we really know
Where is it
we really go
What becomes of that inner me
Do we really sleep through eternity
Will I no longer be me

She says I'm crazy but I'm sure that I'm not
Sometimes I remember but I think I forgot
I'm always thinking about an illness I might have
Is that pain in my chest or is it  lump
what is that pain rumbling round my gut
Is it wind or a cancerous lump
I don't know if I'm gonna survive
All I know is I'm on quite a ride
What is it
we really know
Where is it
we really go
What becomes of that inner me
Do we really sleep through eternity
Will I no longer be me

very deep lyrics and heartfelt performance. a lot of questions that will never be answered i guess.

I enjoyed that. I share Reg's morbid thoughts about illness especially since turning 60, every twinge and pain could be an indication of my imminent demise. It really annoys my wife !

you can call me anything you like.  Just don't call me late for dinner

You're describing my everyday 68 year old life.  Every morning I seem to wake up with another ache or pain. Getting old sucks! >:(

Incredible tune.

By and large, jazz has always been like the kind of a man you wouldn't want your daughter to associate with.

OK to cover but please let me know first.  Thanks!

Another song to display your immense creativity, Trev. Great lyrics and nicely recorded.
