I thought a proper honest to goodness blues track to start the year!

For those that like that sort of info:
Benson Musicman bass - put through vandal amp plug in on chorus
Custom Telecaster for rhythm and lead solos (Solo through Bheringer compressor Sustainer pedal and then used a Vandal amp plug in)
Korg mini keyboard for the strings.

BerryPatch

Such an authentic sounding slow blues. The subtle synth strings are a nice touch, reminds me of the Led Zeppelin song I'm Gonna Crawl. Very cool guitar and an awesome vocal here.

Zoltan

Slow grinding blues with howling vocals. And those orchestral flourishes kick it up a notch.

There were short phrases that reminded me of Elvis (!). I would imagine the music video for this would have Ron wearing a similar leather suit as Elvis did in the '68 comeback special!

There's nothing subtle about the strings imho. They're more like loud & proud and all the better for it :)

Life is not about the number of Breathes you take, it is the amount of times your breathe is taken away

A cool slow hand blues Ron! I like the 4 chord step down just before the strings enter. That's a very good transition. The words and vocal are right on point. The guitar solos being panned out let's them standout with class. Nice work!
