I saw April Wine in Oakland, Ca in 1982 (I think it was that year)...

I already listened to the band alot... fortunately I was very close to the stage and they really rocked with those 3 guitars and that killer drummer they had... yet this man was a great singer...

RIP sir

He just rolled through my city a few weeks ago and played a small gig at a local pizza/sports bar....he was in good health and great spirits..sadly I didn't go see him.....but we are all very sad at this news ..he is a Eastern Canadian legend and hero and all around survivor of the vicious game called rock n' roll....RIP.....great singer and guitar player.....

This is sad news. A great songwriter, guitar player and singer. 75 is way too young to pass on. I listened to April Wine a lot in the 80's but after that sort of lost track of them. I have a couple of albums that I'm going to spin in his honor. RIP Myles Goodwin...

I just caught something... at the end of this song... the vocals remind me of Burton Cummings and the Guess Who... man alive this rocks... and you can take all other decades...give me 70's and 80's music and I ain't missing a thing.... wow... that drummer is a machine...
