This is the third and final song from yesterday's session.

It is what it is.

Well he can fly like a bird
The way he twists and turns
He don't need bullets or guns
When he goes in for the kill
He's there for the thrill
He's having so much fun
For a super hero
Who is that masked man
He's dressed to kill
The judge and the jury
You will bend to his will

Here he comes to the rescue
First on the scene
Saving the damsel
From the evil queen
He gives no quarter
And he ain't too smart
For a super hero
Who is that masked man
He's dressed to kill
The judge and the jury
You will bend to his will

Nothing can stop him
He's out of control
This super hero
Has no shame

Well he can fly like a bird
The way he twists and turns
He don't need bullets or guns
When he goes in for the kill
Here he comes to the rescue
First on the scene
Saving the damsel
From the evil queen

Those things we take for granted - when we're young and immature - will surely return to haunt us when we're old and insecure

Zoltan

Seemingly simple yet there's depth to it. The lyrics are simplistic, but tell a story. The slight grit heard in the vocs work perfectly.

The backing track is kinda barebones and sonically less "grandiose" than most of ORHs songs, but works great in this context.

I'd say this is a great example of effective storytelling and songwriting. There's no excess fat to any of it and it carries until the end. Not a single track (as is), but a strong album track imho. Could even turn out to be a wild card if given a more bombastic (R.E.M) treatment.

So you bumped it?

I can't quite tell what this about. When people make heroes out of flawed people, and make heroes unaccountable? That seems like an ORH theme. Definitely a Ted theme.

To me, this sounds like an early draft of a song, or a promising experiment. I like it. Shut up. It's fine.
