Fashionably late for All Hallows' Eve.

Lurker

I started writing these lyrics as a joke.

I stand all alone and bay at the moon
For I am the bearer of a terrible boon
I was scarred by a fearsome beast
That I regret didn't finish me
I was bitten on a night such as this
My sweetheart I engaged in a tryst
When out of a thicket the beast did burst
Killing my lover and leaving me cursed

Run away
Get away
Stay away from me
I'm not gonna know you
When the beast is set free

When they hear my howl grown men cry
Mothers gather children and cower inside
A shadow in moonlight I lie in wait
For doubters and fools who're one step late
If you find my kind it's better to die
Than to carry this curse and live half a life
When you hear me howl don't hesitate
Kill me with silver or be werewolf bait

Run away
Get away
Stay away from me
I'm not gonna know you
When the beast is set free

Each month for the days the moon is full
I'm overcome by the way of the wolf
Any encountered become my prey
Until the moon sets at the break of day
The rest of the month I hide my scar
And travel the byways that take me far
From a home I lost that fateful night
When I was marked by the full moon's light

Run away
Get away
Stay away from me
I'm not gonna know you
When the beast is set free

A good one for Halloween! A super mix with a cool chorus, vocals and chords. The lead guitar mid break is a great change up. Well done guys!

Life is not about the number of Breathes you take, it is the amount of times your breathe is taken away

Man, that opening has some interesting panning.

Stunning guitar work here, and power in those vocals. Joke or not - I enjoy a tale of werewolves/lycanthropy, which has a fascinating history going way, way back in our Western culture.

Powerful! Reminds me of a 60's heavy band (Pink Floyd, or Deep Purple maybe?). The unique beat and chorus really sets it apart from most. Love the lyrics and vocals along with the guitar punch. Real nice! 8)

Those things we take for granted - when we're young and immature - will surely return to haunt us when we're old and insecure

Wow. From the opening chord you had me hooked.

Fab rocker with a twist. Excellent guitar work as usual and the vocals are just astonishing. More gritty than usual and it fits the song perfectly.

Love that short outburst of a solo. Just perfect

you can call me anything you like.  Just don't call me late for dinner

Great track. Love the rhythmic groove in the engine room (drums, bass and rhythm guitar) and terrific vocals. That short guitar solo works so well. Cool lyrics too and well suited to a Halloween night
