"Ooh la la" Geir covers Faces

I've been brewing on this for a while. Redid the vocals umpteen times and kept adding new tracks. (I think I ended up with 20++  )


Resonator, Mandolin and vocals recorded with behringer and Røde condenser mics.

All other instruments (bass, flute, violin,  Hammond b3, drums and cowbell) are virtual.

It was well worth the wait.

I only listened on my phone speakers, and it sounds great there. Looking forward to playing it on some better speakers soon!

I get the same feeling hearing this I got from some of the early and mid 70's pop tunes had.  This is an amazing production.  So many tracks so skillfully placed.. it's very good.
the vocals are exceptional.  The instrumentation is perfect.

Nice effort mumti instrumentalist I like ...I didn't identify the "resonator" in your production is it a guitar with resonator or a Dobro style resonator?

Ooh la la this an excellent cover, Geir! The 20 tracks really fill the song out and they are all mixed well. Great vocals and overall, this is a great cover!

As to the message in the lyrics I do relate to the chorus. As for the verses I guess a rock star in the early 70s led a different life than I did
