I met one of my heroes at the weekend, me and eric.jpg Wreckles Eric. it inspired this wee dity.

Out with friends tonight to see the band
With a long cold beer held in my hand
Then much to my surprise
I even got to meet the man
He was everything that he could be
Even took the time to chat with me
Down to earth with gravity
Told him of my memories
Out with friends and having fun
Reliving memories
And making new ones
And I feel good

Telling jokes both old and new
Doing things you shouldn't do
I'm not sixteen no more
Or king of the dance floor
The kids say act your age
Too late I'm off my face
I'm gonna have a ball
In the morning I'll forget it all
Out with friends and having fun
Reliving memories
And making new ones
And I feel good

And in the morning I feel rough
And in the morning i feel sore
Can't remember what I did
But I feel good
I Feel Good

Wow, what a great song! Your lyrics take me right there and the doubled high/low vocal was a very cool choice. Very feel-good (no pun intended)

Zoltan

Hey that's great! and so is the song. Your voice works so well with the material. A great pop song with depth to it. Your lyrics are always worth going deep into.

Great song, James. I miss going to as many shows these days. Protecting my hearing and my liver more and more now, lol.

Always nice to meet a hero, and judging from your expression, it went more than well. Fun tune.
