A bit more rocky sounding this time. No keyboard synths.

2 guitar tracks left and right
GB Bass and drums
1 main vocal
1 backing vocal

There ain't no use in looking back
You know that you can't change a thing
You gotta stop that over thinking man
Because it's you that's suffering
That's the way that it is
That's the way that it's meant to be

Why don't you stop and look around yourself
Y'know you've got all that you need
You don't have it so bad, yeah well you got enough
So you gotta just let it be

It's your life
Can't you see
That's the way that it is
That's the way that it's meant to be

———————

Don't let anybody drag you down with them
With all that negativity
If you let it get inside you
Well then you cannot see
That's the way that it is
That's the way that it's meant to be

It's your life
Can't you see
That's the way that it is
That's the way that it's meant to be

That's the way that it is
That's the way that it's meant to be

Liking the jangling tone a good lyric well delivered

Cool rocking track, Mike. Love those guitars and great lyrics that speak volumes. That guitar solo works so well without being over the top. Great job.

OK to cover but please let me know first.  Thanks!

This kicks ass.
The bass pummels.
The drums are humbling.
The lead is heavenly clouds beckoning me in.
The swirling rhythm guitar is healing...
The voice is mist on a cool morning lake.  Mesmerizing!

Brilliant rocking track Mike. Very nicely put together as always. The guitar tone sounds great, cool drums and vocals. Catchy lyrics. Lovely guitar solo.

Thanks for listening.

I thoroughly enjoyed this one. The lyrics are great and the reality check many of us occasionally need.
The playing is solid and the tones are genre appropriate. There's a slight alternative slant to it all, but overall it's still in the realms of "commercial rock".

The final icing of the cake is your vocal sound. It's instantly recognizable and relatable. It makes it easy to believe every word being sung.

Great words here Mike! I love the groove (excellent drum fils!) and those harmonies are the ice on the cake. Nice guitar too, super in the pocket. Super cool!
