John came over with a lyric, and we stitched this together pretty quickly. Any bits of advice for a remix would be appreciated.

Peace.

We the People

We just want to eat drink
Work screw nothing new
Sometimes we want to dance
Choose who we want praise
Try to miss an early grave
We just want an even chance

We the people
Insignificant people
We don't want much
Just what we need
To live our own lives
And make ends meet

Regulation legislation
Getting all up in our nation
Troll us if we take a stand
Ball and socket in the pocket
Only legal if you cock it
Keep your business out of our pants

We the people
Insignificant people
We don't want much
Just what we need
To live our own lives
And make ends meet

2 4 6 8
Who should we investigate
3 6 9 12
The other side can go to hell

Don't demonize it legalize it
Then you can monetize it
Tax it sell it in a can
Oh my gosh the earth is warming
Generations have been warning
Rulers with their head in the sand

We the people
Insignificant people
We don't want much
Just what we need
To live our own lives
And make ends meet

Yes,loving the vibe and lyric, but apart from that the recording is just great it's a winner for me.

Good stuff guys! The chorus vocals are super and the rapid-fire lyrics/vocals really get the point across. The bass has some hot runs in there. The outro guitar solo is cool and a great way to end the song.

holy smokes men... I think this is your best yet... what a song....killer...

flooring me here...  clever and fun...it's sort of like if Offspring and REM married with a southern lady and out came this... sorry about the comps but I don't know how else to describe this... the lead is sort of Allmans at times...
the southern roots show on this but it ain't southern rock... but it proves that southern boys can still rock... I think maybe the doobie brought out the Doobie Brothers sound toward the end....

it's an instant classic... lyrics and vocal deliv are off the charts.

Great - I like how fast it is.  Mix is ok - If I had to suggest a change - Maybe louder bass and slightly louder drums?

WOW! Great track at breakneck speed with excellent vocals and guitar work. Great punkish lyrics too.

Cool raunchy sound - nice tone on the riff/lead. Great punky track! Love the bass too.

Those things we take for granted - when we're young and immature - will surely return to haunt us when we're old and insecure

This may be hard to believe, but we were both completely sober when this was recorded. Unless you count caffeine.
