I was in the kitchen and, as is my wont, was humming a random melody. I had the house to myself for an hour - doesn't happen very often now - so I slapped on my headphones and recorded it (over a click track). Then I added a harmony vocal, a couple of guitar tracks, drums and bass from GarageBand. And within an hour I had the makings of this track. Subsequent keyboard and flute from ThumbJam.

Kind of a chant / meditation.

I love stuff like this Nick.... mesmerizing and hypnotic.... I also think this kind of thinking or not thinking, whichever way one likes to see it, leads to other ideas in music... like building blocks..

this thing builds in intensity musically... and becomes like a Fleetwood Mac track with that keys in the back...

reallllllllllyyyyyyyyyy cooooooooollllllll stuff...

Honestly this is weird, but I'm glad you made it.

It is kind of hypnotic and trance-like.

A visitor from the spirit world.

I read a novel once where characters are inhabited by friendly spirits, they called them "loas".

The older I get the more I say,  let your self free and just create.
