Stomp (Gypsy Jazz version)

I've actually  !@009 got two versions of this song. My original idea was a sort of Gypsy Jazz version with the guitar simply strumming quarter notes, and a sassy bassline.

My producer brought in Mike Lapierre on bass and he played a more traditional walking bass pattern giving the song more of a New Orleans Jazz sound.

If any of you are kind enough to review both versions, we all would really love your opinion of which one you like best.

Intro:
                Stomp Stomp Stomp Stomp

verse 1:
So you met a little cutie, put a twinkle in your eye,
You started feelin' crazy and Uh Oh! My, my, my!
One thing led to another, and before you were through,
you were standing on the altar and saying "I do"

chorus 1:
You gotta stomp stomp
When you're happy, gotta stomp stomp
When you're feeling good,        like you know you should
You got to stomp when the feeling insiiiide needs out.   (stomp, stomp, stomp)

verse  2:
So you bought a little house where you keep that green grass mown,
you tried to keep your old life, but you really should have known.
One thing leads to another, with that gold wedding band,
Now you're  trading in a sports car for a minivan.

chorus 2:
you gotta Stomp, stomp
don't get to  serious stomp, stomp
You've got to lighten up,  time to lighten up.
You got to stomp when the feeling insiiiide needs out. (stomp, stomp, stomp)

verse  3:
Well the kids drive you crazy, and you don't know what to do.
And you sure don't have the time to sit around feeling blue.
One thing leads to another, now you're starting to shout
The same things that your daddy did, how'd that come about?

chorus 3:
You gonna stomp stomp
When you're angry, gotta stomp stomp
When your feeling bad,  when you're feeling sad.
You got to stomp when the feeling insiii iii e needs out. (stomp, stomp, stomp)

Instrumental:
(one verse)

verse 4:
Well look at you, look where you are right now.
You never thought it'd happen, but it happened any how.
One thing led to another now you've grown up like your dad,
Your washboard stomach has taken on a pad...

ending/chorus repeat:
You gotta stomp stomp stomp
Awwww, You gotta stomp stomp stomp
Awwww ha ha ha!   Ha ha ha!
You got to stomp when the feeling inside needs out. (stomp, stomp, stomp)

(Vamp and fade out)

this is a lot of fun... It would become a cult hit for bars, ball games etc.. It is infectious and makes one jump a little bit... or a lotta bit.

I love to hear fun stuff.

It is very well produced... I will check out the other one as well...

coming back in for another listen after hearing the NO version... I would say they are both really good... and really almost like different songs... sort of like different covers...like when someone in the 60's covered a song that was done in the 50's etc... they can be quite different and still great.
this one is totally different than the other one... and both rock nicley
