A new song from the CC Inventive.

I originally put the basis of this together when I toyed with the idea of trying my hand at production music.

I realised that I didn't really need the extra £6.50 that I might be paid for it.  I decided that I would much prefer to do music with my mates so I added a few bits and sent it to Nick who wrote lyrics and vocal melody, and got his fabulous vocal chords across it.

Definitely the right decision.

Paul

I'll put it up on Soundcloud in case anyone feels the need to listen at a higher sample rate.

Frequent Flyer

Here there and everywhere he's feet don't make a sound
There's no space In between his thoughts, he's nowhere to be found

Sitting In a tube, he's a frequent flyer

On top deck fine tableware, he got there from the stairs
Down below there're under him, there're wearing denim flares

Sitting in a tube, he's a frequent flyer

Fragrance drifts within the air, he's face it draws some stares
In all accounts there's full amounts, he's cupboards full not bare

Sitting in a tube, he's a frequent flyer (oh my)

He knows what I know and I know what he shows
Inside he's not a joyful man, for he's got so much to prove
Outside in his activities he can't sit still, he has to move
(got to get In to get out)
and when you see what can be
(perhaps it's)
hidden in destiny In cards that show their faces
(perhaps it's)
Open like A,B,C
Turn like 1,2,3

In betwixt not everywhere, he's touched down on the ground
There's so much space in between his thoughts..
he's happy with no sound
Happy with no sound
Happy with no sound
Shhh....

I am a massive fan of your guitar work Paul and this is way up there for that.

I also agree you cannot go wrong with Pipes vocals... they are wonderful and unique!

This is a very cool track that repeated vocal line, a real ear worm.

By and large, jazz has always been like the kind of a man you wouldn't want your daughter to associate with.

Great listen chaps, like kind of art prog. Really original - sounds like no other artist I have heard. Love that rapid chorus line. Excellent. Oh, yes some cracking lead guitar Paul.

Four listens and I love it every time! I appreciate both of you, great music and vocals. Around 2:15 I'm wearing a smoking jacket and pondering the world just so you know.

Pipes. Yikes. He's so versatile(z). Chappers the musical genius. Yet perhaps a bit out there too?

Such cool grooves and complex arrangemental ideas. Great sounding pop "rock" for those with diverse tastes.

Another pro production..

Definitely has the quality and style to be in a musical, this is top notch work.
As always, would you expect less from those involved?  8)
