I've travelled the world; many places I've been
Many wondrous sights and pretty girls I've seen
Seen a platinum blonde on a Melbourne street
Seen a girl from County Cork with a smile so sweet
But the prettiest sight I ever saw in the world
Was the big brown eyes of the Caribbean girl.

Seen a girl dance Flamenco in sunny Spain
Seen a girl dance silently in the snowy Ukraine
Seen an English girl complexion like a rose
Seen a Mid West apple pie girl with a pretty little nose
But the prettiest sight I ever saw in the world
Was the big brown eyes of the Caribbean girl.

In another life
In a parallel world
Just be me and that Caribbean girl.

Some people go in peace as their lives unfurl
They throw away the pebble and they fight for the pearl
But the prettiest sight I ever saw in the world
Was the big brown eyes of the Caribbean girl.

The acoustic sounds great what a beautiful mix. The double vocal works a treat on the chorus and the lyrics are excellent. The sun has finally come out here and this the perfect song to have with my coffee this morning another beauty from the house of Ray

Life is not about the number of Breathes you take, it is the amount of times your breathe is taken away

Beautiful song Ray. You got me picking up my guitar and playing along , which is much needed inspiration right now!
Love the vocals, as always, just the perfect timing of the much needed tune.

Love these reflective, mellow tracks you write Ray. The acoustic guitar sounds so good. Add your vocals and harmonies to it and it's just brilliant. I like the other additions later on in the song. Awesome playing and arranging.
Ive never been to the Caribbean but would love to one day.

Lovely song. I am sure I have heard it before some time ago, but it's ageless so great to hear it again. Nice one Ray.

By and large, jazz has always been like the kind of a man you wouldn't want your daughter to associate with.
