Okay... this a a bit different. So here is the run down. Most nights I spend ether recording or at least with a guitar in my hands. My daughter, who is 6, has been seeing this. So she thought she'd write a song. She came up to me, song in hand, asking to record it. So we sat down and I had her sing it, so that I could figure out the chords. And so here it is... My daughter's first song.

She runs out of lyrics at one point and just starts improvising towards the halfway mark. :)

It would help if I attached the song.. :/

This is fantastic, and is very impressive for anyone to have written and sung this, let alone a 6 year old!!

Lovely smooth guitar playing throughout.

Man, that's excellent, Saijinn! In a few years she'll be writing and singing with you all the time (or have her own band). She did great with the improv. Nice work.

This is great, just love to hear music created with your kids. This is really good, she has a nice voice and performs the song really well. Amazing for a 6 year old!!! Real potential - please encourage her to keep writing!

My daughter loved everyone's reply. Thank you.

Now she is dying to dive right back into writing another one. I even bought her a notebook to keep all her songs.

Oops, she wants to say something...

I miss those days now I have to hold formation for all my grandsons and then put them through guitar bootcamp LOL!
