This is something different from me. Inspired by 2 films "The Perfect Storm" and "Fishermen's Friend". I wanted to write a sea shanty and make it feel authentic. So this is stripped back to acoustic guitars and a bass guitar when I needed the song to fill out. The acoustic is 'Linda' my Lindo acoustic with a chorus effect pedal. Inexpensive, but nice sound imho.

yeah, that guitar sounds great.  Love the picking and strumming and the chorus sounds great on there.
Provides a soft yet building backdrop to your vocals.... this builds the emotion throughout.

I did enjoy the Perfect Storm.  My niece lives in Gloucester so the movie became a little more close to home for me.

cool wind/sea noises also...

Sounds fantastic....love the acoustic...it's a bit spooky sounding, especially the background vocals...like a ghostly chorus.......and the dynamics are wonderful.....how it keeps rolling on....I love this

Spooky and ghostly. I like the way it builds layer by layer and is so storydriven. Those backing vocs are also a highlight.

This is a great track, a very cool change of pace. I love the jangling glommy guitars and the extra sounds of the sea are super effective. The lead and backing are so well done. Bravo!

Certainly different from you, Ron. Those guitars sound great, inexpensive or not. Cool strong vocal work too.
