I love the one where the guy runs back to a car he left unlocked to save his banjo only to find a second one there. Heard the same joke with bagpipes.

Very strong tune. The harp is really well placed after that last vocal.

Off topic question: what is the guitar in the lower left of your avatar?

Hi Blooby - the guitar you mention is a 1954 Maton Supreme (yeah, I know - sounds like a damn pizza) Maton guitars are made here in Australia and are probably more well know for their acoustic guitars but the one in the picture does have a cool jazzy tone.

Maton are good enough for Tommy Emanuel- so they are good enough for everyone.

Great Interplay between the main vocal and backing vox..
Cleverly constructed and played.
Guitar solo...just love it...
Reminds me a bit of Dire straights with a touch of Dylan.

Excellent

phew! nearly missed this one ray. I like the storytelling, always a great story in your lyrics.
This almost sounds a bit like a "sting" song. Excellent music and vocals. love your voice.
i like the way the song builds up too, its really great.
I have 2 profiles on this site, (NOW COMBINED INTO ONE PROFILE PAGE)
