Peer Pressure (snippet, Rat)

This week is going to be a pain so i don't have much time for playing. If any. This is the first demo recording with the Rat that i did yesterday. It's an old song idea with some lyrical imaginery from Manning

I know i got overboard with the guitar sound and this is hardly a great example of the Rat. The sound is mid-crush madness with P-90s, but boy did i like the way it behaved!

This is just a snippet. I hope i'll have the energy to do this properly at some point as i haven't been able to forget the groove... I would like to put it to a rest.

I like the sound of this so far..look forward to the finished song. Those guitar tones are great. And the lyrics lol, brilliant. It's a got a " electric six" type vibe which I really like.

I was so close to buying a Rat at Christmas. This makes me think I should have done. That compressed distortion is so heavy but tight - what a fantastic sound. You definitely need to fully finish this one! Sounding great.

Great bit of riffing with some real great little lead licks thrown.... man you can play! So loving those lyrics... that sounds like some woman!   Kinda hear where Steve is coming from there is a bit of the ZZ Top spirit in this. Cool
