What do YOU think?

Smooth jazz.

In your eyes I can see love
burning a fire into my heart
Your smile is cutting through the cold air
warming up my lone heart
Finally you're here
I feel love has renewed me
in your gentle presence here by my side

Blue skies hover above us
as we walk closely
Your hand in mine
Your love comes through to me so clearly
Holding me so tightly.  How can I lose?
I know I'll never be lonely
As long as I can keep you part of my world

Never a day goes by when I feel blue
Never a time when I feel not good enough
Never have you voiced concern of doubt at any time
Always I feel right at home to speak to you my mind

In your voice I hear such warmth
Every word a charm of caring and joy
I feel it true through every long day
In my heart you will stay cherished and loved
You know I'll always be right here
waiting just to hold your eternally

Never a day goes by when I feel blue
Never a time when I feel not good enough
Never have you voiced concern of doubt at any time
Always I feel right at home to speak to you my mind

Please feel deep in your heart my life's dedication
here for all time
I know I'll never ever lose your love and pure devotion
all of our lives
You do bring heaven to my world
Life will be so lovely with you all the while

I think this is melodic as all heck......hard to sing like this and make it convincing and you do that in spades.......kind of makes me think of John Wetton on that first UK album but a bit higher ........sounds really good to me

No melody?! This is dripping with melodies - vocal ones, piano ones and trumpet(?). I'm especially liking the 'Never a day goes by' chorus sections - really gorgeous. Top quality work. I would give that other forum the boot!  ;D

A sweet song with a wonderful melody, full of leaps and bounds.
Great chord structure and beautiful lyrics. Trumpet and strings are a nice touch.
There are only three kinds of drummers. Those who can count, and those who can't.

Great tune John, very melodic and hooky. The fretless sound is awesome.

Well done!

Another quality track by you Johnbee. I learned a long time ago to ignore negative comments. Ray Brookes and I  were members of a site where talentless jerks savaged other people's tracks LOL. Love your style mate. Cool choooon

Steve, Bluesberry, Redler, Greeny,Frank,Launched & Ron D-Thanks so much.  You helped restore my faith in this song and my melody writing.

Greeny, I DID give that forum the boot!  Biggest bunch of snobs and losers on the net. ;)

Jazzy hooks all around with plenty of melody for me.
So well recorded, with excellent piano, drums and vocal then the trumpet solo cool!!
