Broke out the Zoom r24, have,nt really used it much, so this is what happened.
Have not really got my head around the drum sequencer yet but will keep trying so apologies on that one.
First thing since last October, so a bit rusty,
so here we go.

I enjoy the intensity in the guitar chords, pushing through to make your point.
Lyrics have the thoughtfulness of Dylan.

OK to cover but please let me know first.  Thanks!

I hear a cool Talking Heads kind of thing going on here, it's avoiding all the "usual 1-4-5 chords".

Oh... I recognize the R24 drums... they are quite nice imo.
Love the acoustic over the drums and bass.  Very cool vibe to the whole song.
But as per usual your vocals are AMAZING!!!
Exc recording, production...

Cool song, SE, and doesn't sound too rusty to me.  Drums are really authentic.  I'm particularly fond of the doubled vocals.

Didn't take long to shake off any rust. Strong song that sounds unique. Absolutely love the relaxed bass in this one.

That's a wild bass tone – it doesn't know whether it wants to be a fuzz bass or a Macca bass.

To me, there's a late-60s quality to this song that I can't put my finger on. And the "Have not really got my head around the drum sequencer" aspect somehow works: The drums are very insistent – in contrast to the very relaxed feel of the rest of the instrumentation.

Nicely constructed song, mate and love those bass lines. I like the double-tracked vocal and those acoustic guitar chords.

There's lots of space on the production / mixing which works really well. Great songwriting, delicious bass, and a solid groove on the acoustic guitars. Excellent work!
