During my summer holidays in Cornwall I went swimming each morning at dawn watching the sun come up while swimming in the Atlantic. It was quite exhilarating and I wish I could do it most mornings but as we are 400 miles from Cornwall it will have to stay a yearly event....but wow! did I feel energised after...
Its early morning, the worlds about to capsize
I stumble out of my bed to try to seize upon the day
I want to feel the warmth of the sun from the sunrise.
And watch this beautiful world be born again
And to sit with the sea and play with the sand

The view surreal in this morning light as the dark disburses to the sky
Hearing  whispers spoken by the sea that beckoning me to hand
I feel free in this open world, no attachment to the land
I feel free, to be me
I feel free swimming wild in the sea

sunshine feels within me
The sea is cold but I'm warm inside
I feel I glow like the sun lighting up the sky
As I feel an energy build deep within
I float with the sea and feel alive again

The day starts
but this time I feel clear in my mind
All my worries left way behind
Floating in the sea just me and my mind
Floating in the sea feeling free
Putting all those worries way behind me

The view surreal in this morning light as the dark disburses to the sky
I hears whispers spoken from the sea beckoning me to swim
I feel free in this open world with no attachment to the land
I feel free just  to be me
I feel free swimming wild in the sea

Very visual lyrics. It's always nice to put your worries on the back burner, and just use your senses to connect with your surroundings... and enjoy this life.
There are only three kinds of drummers. Those who can count, and those who can't.

Lovely atmosphere and excellent lyrics. I love descriptive and poetic lyricism like this. Interesting sound here, almost like the acoustic guitar is coming through a dream...

This is another stunning singing and lyric Trev.
taking a very wonderful, spiritual experience and then placing that within music is a powerful expression and you have done it well yet again.
One never knows what actually transpires inside another human.  Someone with you might not even notice how special these moments were for you.

you can call me anything you like.  Just don't call me late for dinner

Great one Trevor. I love the wee bit of lead guitar at the start. It gives me a bit of a Peter Green vibe in feel and tone as well. Lovely song and like Steve says you did great capturing a personal moment of peace. The vibe carries the message really well.

Another beauty Trev!

Marvelous imagery and serious guitar tone.

I dig the sparseness of this. It doesn't ask for anything more. Very nice.

Very nice track, Trev. Love that guitar intro and as always excellent vocal. Cool lyrics too.
