3/ Mission is a British film directed by Roland Joffé. It was presented at the 1986 Cannes Film Festival where it won the Golden Palm. The music, magnificent, is of course by Ennio Morricone. The "Gabriel Oboe theme" is the main theme of the film

4/ Paris Texas ..is a German-French-British-American (oops) drama, directed by Wim Wenders, released in 1984, the music is by Ry Cooder played by a contemplative and spectral guitar.

5/ Le Grand Bleu A Franco-Italian film by Luc Besson in 1988, a generational film freely inspired by the lives of Jacques Mayol and Enzo Majorka. The music by Eric Serra won the Oscar for best film score in 1989.  Here I cover the song "My Lady Blue", sung for the film by Eric Serra

6/ Les portes de la nuit Ah la an old film that the less than 20, 30, 40 years old may not know A film of Marcel Carné released in 1946 and the music is of Joseph Cosma ..the music that Yves Montand hums in the film is of Kosma and Prévert...it became a universal standard that I take back here in the English version of ...Eric Clapton "Autumn leaves"

7/ The Deer Hunter is a 1978 British-American film directed by Michael Cimino. The music is by Stanley Myers and the guitar theme "Cavatina" was recorded by classical guitarist John Williams

8/ The Jungle Book is one of the last films approved by Walt Disney during his lifetime, it was released in 1967 in the USA and 1968 in France. The film contains among others this song "Il faut peu pour être heureux" (the Bare necessities) written by Tery Gilkyson
