The Q1 (Jan/Feb/Mar) 2023 covers fest is once again a tribute to the musicians who died in the previous year.

Thanks again to Mike_S for the festival graphics. The artists Mike has chosen for the Lost in 2022 banner are (left to right) Alec John Such, Christine McVie, Mark Lanegan, Taylor Hawkins, Alan White, Jerry Allison, Jerry Lee Lewis, Meat Loaf, Olivia Newton-John, Dan McCafferty, Irene Cara, Loretta Lynn, Terry Hall, and Vangelis.

Of course, the fest is not restricted to just those artists. You can cover any artist who died between Jan 1, 2022 and Dec 31, 2022. We'll accept covers of any song the artist performed on or wrote/co-wrote. However, please keep in mind that the intention is to pay tribute to the artist who died, not the band they were in. So try to choose songs that prominently feature the artist who died in 2022.
