When you're tired and lonely
and all you have is slipping away
an all promises lye broken
in the face of fate
all you can do is say
don't walk on by now
don't walk on by now
don't walk on by

When you're lost on the inside
an you cant take anymore
an lady luck she has come
only to pass by your door
all you can do is say
don't walk on by now
don't walk on by now
don't walk on by

Well hear the cries of the hungry
and the lies were told to believe
see the fight for power and glory
fed by corruption and greed
an what seems as a dream
can be a nightmare away
an all we can do is say
don't walk on by now
don't walk on by now
don't walk on by now
don't walk on by

don't leave us standing here
all alone cloaked in fear
don't leave us standing here
all alone soaked in tears

Lovely, folksy rock track. I love the twangy chime of that electric and your vocals are perfect. I love the heavier solo section, very melodic playing.

Fine laid back song, Trist.  You have a fine voice.

works nicely as is and that tag ain't no big deal!  I like the way this chugs along like a fully loaded freight train engine that can't be stopped....
The song packs a wallop.  I kind of like the saturated sound or whatever it is they call that... it's legit!

Has a kind of Hootie and The Blowfish kind of vocal feel to me... very excellent and unique voice.  dig it.

I know this song. It's one of my faves of yours. Good job on this mate.

Hook

I dig that thick, full lead. Kinda makes me think if John hiyat was in Wilco. Very cool song, nicely produced.
Rock on!

Cool song, Trist. Same as Ron I do remember this song and it's also one of my favourite of yours. Lyrics are great and the emotive vocal presentation is perfect. What bit rate do you use when you convert the wave files to mp3?

Great song Trist. I too remember this one. It is annoying that we can only upload files of a certain size , Losung a bit of quality, but you can still hear this is a brilliant track.
I have 2 profiles on this site, (NOW COMBINED INTO ONE PROFILE PAGE)

The 2nd one is for my other musical projects and collaborations. (DarrenG)
