Hi all!

Here's a song I finally could complete. A lot of song sketches in the memory card and it takes time and work to get them entirely new songs. Anyway, here is a new song!
Thanks Trevor and Mike! You've done a brilliant job with my backer.
Thanks for listening!

Lyrics and vocals by Trevor (thetworegs)
Solo guitar by MikeS
composition, rhythm guitars, bass and drum programming (BR-80)by Kari (redler)
Backer recorded on BR-80

WHERE DO WE GO FROM HERE
The 8th of September everything would change
Everything went black there would be no light again
The woman who ruled the world woke up dead
The king arose with a truth in his head
It was a dog eat dog world
he was fearful where he tread

Where truth is a lie and a lie becomes truth
Spread through the media to the ears of the youth
Where wars are created to fill a polling booth
Causing pain like a broken tooth

Where do we go from here
Where do we go from here
Where do we go from here
Where can we hide

A scream breaks out but nobody hears
The death of a planet is coming near
The words from the profit chokes on his own spit
No one who hears really gives a shit

So where do we go from here
Where do we go from here
Where do we go from here
Where can we hide

Solo

Politicians spew out their known untruths
From that disconnected face right through to their voting booths
insidious lies feed on a working class mind
As the fat cats takes his money as the blue print has designed
This is not a life I want
With nothing left to build a life
I'm left wading through shit with a switch blade knife
Watching my back as I begin to fall
Life becomes one gigantic  brawl

Where do we go from here
Where do we go from here
Where do we go from here
Where can I hide

The 8th of September everything did change
Everything went black there was no light again
The woman who ruled the world woke up dead
The king arose with a truth in his head
It was a dog eat dog world
he was fearful where he tread

Where do we go from here
Where do we go from here
Where do we go from here
Where can we hide
Where can we hide

wow...killer song and the lyrics are great.  This song rocks Redler and the rhythm bed is the perfect place to drop Trevor into... and Mike's killer lead work...

love the tones and sounds throughout... where do we go from here?

Where do we go from here? To the curry perhaps? :)

I know this didn't help, but i'm really bad at these big questions. Seeing the people behind this song this sounds like a really happy collaboration regardless of the dark topic. Mr Regs is the one to turn to when you need deep emotions and pain carried thru the performance. Redler is going quite metal in parts and Mike what's happened? The soloing and especially the guitar sounds a lot more like a mulleted 90's "youngster" playing his Ibanez rather than Mike the man of a few carefully chosen notes. Great playing and great change of style.

I'd say everybody here is stretching their range and it's a joy to hear! Good stuff!

Great collab, guys. Love the instrumentation and Trevor's vocal is brill. Nice guitar solo, Mike and a well-composed/arranged track, Karl; love the dark lyrics.

Life is not about the number of Breathes you take, it is the amount of times your breathe is taken away
