A few years ago I was in Charles de Gaulle airport in Paris, France, and saw those escalators.  I thought, "Oh! oh! Where have I seen those before?"  I haven't given it any thought again until now.  Mystery solved!
never had a clue where those escalators were from til now

This is off topic, but only slightly:
QuoteGet your own business cards made of MEAT AND LASERS

We have exactly fifteen alpha-tester slots. If you would like to be a MEATCARDS alpha tester, we are issuing a MEATCARD CHALLENGE to you: recreate any one of the three Frank Frazetta paintings below. The first ten AND the best five photos each win the submitter an alpha test slot! The contest starts NOW, as in "if you're reading this, it's open RIGHT NOW"!

I'm a vegetarian, but I still want MEATCARDS!

Nice thread, Greeny.  I am a big fan of cover art.  It's a huge part of the music for me ...

Easily in the top 5 greatest albums of all time:

Amazing album, amazing artwork by singer Wayne Coyne:

King Crimson's Discipline I stared at for quite a while.

I'm assuming this Molly Hatchet cover was a Frazetta.

and I'm assuming this was a Frazetta(sp?).

Nope. Not Frazetta.  That's a Celtic knot--and apparently KC used it without knowing it was copyrighted.  Newer releases of the album have a different version of the knot.

Yesterday I recounted my brief--but ever so meaningful--face-to-face encounter with Robert Fripp when they toured for this album.  It's here, if you missed it.
