Brilliant song, guys! I love the vivacious vocal melody. Delayed guitars and vocals works well.

I got U2 vibe on places...

The lyrics now reflect the edits.

Life is how we travel
Through time and space
As the moments unravel
Paths are interlaced

There's no reason to hurry
The end is not the goal
Every part of the journey
Can shape your soul

It's a long, long road
But still we have to go
Though the way's not straight
And perils may await

People will come and go
A few will remain
Some will share your burden
Others are added weight

Even a brief interaction
Can leave an impression deep
Every turn offers lessons
Some you lose, some you keep

It's a long, long road
But still we have to go
Though the way's not straight
And perils may await

Remember you're not a feature
For the universe to watch
You're just a tiny creature
On a spinning wet rock

Words cannot encompass
The complexities of life
Any attempt is hopeless
Still parents and poets try

It's a long, long road
But still we have to go
Though the way's not straight
And perils may await

It's a long, long road
But still we have to go
No the way's not straight
And perils may await

A cool song guys! I hear a little Yes (Jon Anderson style) in Lurker's vocals...nicely done there! Excellent guitar Blooby. You asked my once why I hear some Jerry Garcia's style in your lead work (as I do here)...now I know. It's your use of the major scale in a lot of your lead playing style. Although I think you are a more versatile player than J. Garcia was. Well done guys!

Yup... Farrell nailed Lurkers vocal comp is yes... i cant always tell Anderson from Squier...

Suffice it to say that as good as your songs/recordings are this bumps a notch up imo...

I would call it "Perils Await" - but then I am a terminal pessimist!

Great song.  I got a Yes vibe - which is no bad thing as far as I'm concerned.

Beautiful guitar work.
The drums can actually come up a bit in the mix.
Vocals are perfectly mixed, and sounds really nice, lyrics are well written.
Thanks for the lyrics.
I love this recording.

Great work guys. I do get the Yes comparisons, there is a touch of Yes in here. And not only is that not a bad thing, it's a bloody great thing. To have a comparison to Yes has to be bloody Ace. But a great tune in it's own right. Some great imagination in here, great riffing and great vocals. Lovely job lads.
