Great resource for Cover Song research

I just stumbled upon this site which maintains thorough listings of cover versions and indicates when the song was first released and who performed it.

This can be useful for our year-based fests which require that the first successful version of a song (the definitive version) was released in the year of the fest. I'll be using this site to check fest submissions for eligibility.
