I was reading the Sunday papers this morning and started to think of the poor sods who are already struggling with debt and the cost of living and this is only the start of what's to come and this one came out....Thanks for listening
Money keeps rolling out
There ain't enough rolling in
There ain't no love left in this here city
Oooh Its all going to sin
Ain't got nothing left here but praying to the lord
And the lord he ain't listening
to my begging any more
No more
No more
this situation just ain't happening in the eyes of the lord
He said : I ain't got nothing left son
I can't give you no more
There's nothing left here, its up to you,  to pull yourself up off the floor
From that floor

The lord said he got nothing for me
Nothing at all
He said its up to me to pull myself up, from the floor
From the floor
From this floor

What am I gonna do, to survive
How the hell can I pull myself up from this floor
This floor
Off this floor
Off this floor

Good song Trev and nice playing! I agree with the sentiment after seeing my gas and electricity direct debits almost doubling this month. There must be a lot of people struggling right now.

Another bluesy winner, Trev! Nice job with the lyrics, too...very actual topic, unfortunately...

Bluesy good bad times! The compination of tinkling the ivories and blues guitar works a treat. The vocals are strong and demand attention.

For a solution to the dilemma... may i suggest Only fans?

I love the intro guitar work.
This song is simply lovely.
The vocals is so emotional, and so convincing singing.
Love this recording.

Love the blues licks again in this one. Your blues vocals knock me out as well

a gospel feel to that piano that is killer......
